These terms cover how Lock Our Love works. We've kept them as plain and honest as the product itself — read on for the details, but here's the spirit of it: we built something permanent, we tell you exactly what that means before you commit to it, and we stand behind that promise.

1. Using Lock Our Love

By creating an account or sealing a lock, you're agreeing to these terms. You can explore and start building a lock without signing in — we only ask you to sign in when you're ready to make it real.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under your account. If anything seems off, reach out to us right away.

3. The Promise at the Heart of the Product

Once you seal a lock, the names and country you chose become a permanent part of the Wall — visible, unchangeable, and never removed. This isn't a limitation; it's the entire idea. We show you this clearly before you complete your purchase, so there's never a surprise.

You can always archive a lock from your own dashboard if your life moves on from it — it simply stops showing as active on your side, while the promise itself stays exactly where you placed it.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

Lock purchases are one-time and final, in keeping with the permanence described above. Our Premium membership is $37/year, renewing automatically until you cancel — cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep everything included through the end of your current period. Gift credits included with Premium are for active subscribers and don't carry a cash value.

5. What You Add to Your Lock

You're welcome to include names, messages, photos, and voice notes — this is your story to tell. By adding someone else's name, you're confirming you have the right to share it. Please keep what you seal respectful, legal, and true — we ask everyone on the Wall to hold to the same standard.

6. Our AI Writing Assistant

Think of it as a thoughtful starting point, not the final word — you always choose what actually gets sealed.

7. Keeping the Community Good

We ask everyone to avoid hateful, harassing, or illegal content, and not to misuse features like gifting or the Wall's counters. In rare cases of clear abuse, we may remove content or restrict an account — a narrow exception to an otherwise unbreakable promise.

8. Gifting

Gift purchases are final once made. Please double-check the contact details for your gift recipient — we want their surprise to land perfectly.

9. Legacy Mode

You choose who to trust with your legacy settings, and you're responsible for keeping those details accurate and current.

10. What Belongs to Whom

Your names, messages, and media are yours. The design, technology, and experience of Lock Our Love belong to us. We simply ask that you enjoy the product without copying or repurposing it elsewhere.

11. A Few Honest Limits

We do our best to keep things running beautifully, but we can't promise perfection every second of every day, and our responsibility for anything that goes wrong is reasonably limited — the details are available on request.

12. If Things End

We hope they don't, but if your account is ever closed for violating these terms, any lock you've already sealed stays exactly where it is — the promise doesn't end when the account does.

We'll let you know if these terms meaningfully change.
